He Still Moves Stones

These two beautiful boys are Aidan Christopher (top) and Nathaniel Jacob (bottom) where born last Friday. At 27 weeks 6 days gestation. They are the identical twin sons of friends of ours. People all over the world have been praying for these boys and their parents. The smaller of the two, Aidan, is not supposed to be here at all according to his doctors. He was known as the donor twin as the boys had TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome.) Nate's echocardiograms were showing a thickening of his heart walls.
And so we prayed. And prayed. And passed on prayer requests for the family and prayed. And they are here. Doing well. It might be Christmas before they are home. But they are coming home.
I can think of no better way to end this post than with the way that their mother, Kathleen, has been ending her emails.
Psalm 18: 1-6, In my distress I called to the Lord, I cried to my God for help. From His temple He heard my voice, my cry came before him, into His ears. 18:16, He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters.

Our God is the God who answers prayer. No doubt about that.

This family has been in our prayers and we're so happy to hear that things are "so far so good". We will continue to cover this family in prayer and hope they continue to thrive and grow.

Tonnie,
We send our prayers out to these little guys. I work with healthy newborns everyday and it still breaks my heart when I see them struggling. It is amazing what babies can overcome with the help of God! Best wishes to all. Terri

Tonni, it still makes me cry every time I see these little guys and they are my little guys! Not only has God been our rock, you and your family have been our rocks as well. Thank you for posting our little fighters! I hope that our testimony can help many women and families who's babies have to go through this terrible life threating disease.

In His name,
Kathy
