Not Fair!!

I don't mind being 41, most of the time. Actually I kind of like it. But there's one thing that really, on a daily basis, works my nerves!!

And I have to "face" it twice, every day! And that would be all of the things I have to do to take care of my face!!

Let's start with washing. I have to go through a three step regimen. Facial scrub, clarifier, repairing lotion. I use Pro@ctive. Yes, I am 41 and still fighting blemishes. Actually they are worse than they have ever been. For me, this is the only product that works. After I am done with that, I have to do a spot treatment right on my 'problem areas.'

THEN I apply a Banishing Cream. Why? Because in the unfairness that is middle age, along with my blemishes (I hate the word zits) I have age spots!!!! Where is the fairness in that??? Blemishes AND age spots!?!

THEN I have to apply sunscreen to prevent further age spots. I think, when I am done, I must have a quarter of an inch of products on my face! Probably clogging my pores and causing further issues........

Have I mentioned how unfair this is??? Have I mentioned that I am the only one who seems to notice the difference??

I quit trying, I gave up the creams, oils, scrubs, even makeup. I was fighting an uphill battle so I gave in and let nature take over.....the sad part, things really aren't much worse!!!
