A Dickens of a Christmas

Cute title, huh? This was the title of the Christmas play that Gracie was in at school....let that sink in a bit.....my daughter is in public school! And yes, they used the word Christmas!!
It was a cute little play based on, I know you are shocked, Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." Grace played the part of Scrooge's nephew's wife. I was so proud of her! She did a great job and has a beautiful singing voice.
Merry Christmas, to one and all!!

Awww...Isn't she cute!? (Of course she is, she's your daughter!) We just had a long discussion at school about the whole Christmas thing. Our Kindergarteners sung Away in the Manger at their CHRISTMAS program. Ahhh...small towns...gota love it! :-)

She looks adorable. Although I can't help but think that a picture of her in an elf costume would have made better blackmail material when she's older. LOL. Congrats, Gracie, on earning a speaking part!

Gracie looks positively beautiful, and so mature. I would love to hear her sing. Congratulations on your part Grace.

I find it so cool that your school has a "Christmas" program. That is awesome. I bet she had a lot of fun!

Way to go Gracie!!!

We live in a small town and are proud to have Christmas programs, sing songs about the birth of our Savior, and even had a Madgrigal dinner based on the birth of Christ. There are not too many good things about this town, but the fact that they never take Christ out of Christmas is one one of them!!
