Great Album!

This is a great album by Matt Maher. Really inspirational. I've had in my van for a couple of days and haven't taken it out of the cd player once! I love "Leave a Light On" and "Empty and Beautiful." My kids enjoy it, too. The music is varied between up tempo and slow songs. You'll recognize at least one song and hear lots of others which will become favorites.

What is extra cool is, if you go to Matt Maher's site you can listen to many of the songs. If you love this cd as much as I do, you can get it for only $8.97 for a limited time.

Gracie's birthday was Friday. I cannot believe my baby girl is 9!

The Jobe crew invaded the Jobe Abode for a celebration of Grace and Charis. There was lots of eating and celebrating. What a blessing of a family I have! And I am so blessed to be able to call these gorgeous, smart girls my daughters!

Continue to pray

Kade has gone to be with Jesus. He will never have to learn a lesson the hard way. He will never have to choose between God and his friends. He will never be hurt by a careless word. He will never know loss or loneliness.

His mama is still here, mourning a little one that was knit in her womb. She is suffering, grieving. She is hurting with a pain only a few ever have to deal with. Please pray for Stephanie. That she will learn to turn to the same one who is today holding her child. She is lost and lonely. May Jesus hold her in his arms, just as he is holding Kade.

Please, Please Pray

This is Kade. He was born 16 weeks premature. He is really struggling as you can imagine. The doctors are not too hopeful. But OUR God is bigger than that. Pray for his lungs to develop.

And pray for his mommy, Stephanie. She is 19 and really struggling. She also might have cancer.

Pray for good results for both. Stephanie's relationship with the Lord is tenuous at best.

And pray for Cindy, a wonderful woman who God has chosen as a friend and mentor for Stephanie. Pray for rest and strength for this warrior of the Lord.

Two Little Guys

I know of two little boys needing prayer.

The first is Kade. Kade was born yesterday several weeks premature. He was due July 31. He weighed 2 lbs. 13 oz. and is 13 inches long. Please pray for him and his mother, Stephanie. She is a single mother who chose life for her little boy when his father was pressuring her to have an abortion. Praise God for the decision she made!

The second little guy is Micah Crimmins. Micah has been battling cancer. He is only 3 years old. Pray for his health. Pray for his family. You can find out information on Micah at www.carepages.com the account name is MicahCrimmins.

Our God is a god of miracles. Pray for these special little boys.

I'd call this post "Conversations with Ella", but since all she did was scream, it really wasn't much of a conversation. Ella does a lot of screaming these days. She has entered three with a vengeance! Anyway, you are probably wondering why the picture of the undies. (And yes, I did a search for underwear images on Google and nothing unsavory came up.) We had baths tonight. The lovely weather necessitates cleaning children a little more often. After baths I got Ella dressed. As soon as the undies went on, the screaming started. She is so picky about clothing and how it fits. Have I ever told you about her sock issues? So, after a few minutes, I got her different undies. They went on, the screaming resumed, a pitch higher, I believe. 4 times this happened. 4 times!!! EEEEEK! Eventually we just went with her pull-up. Usually those bring on a screaming fit, too. Not today, thank goodness.......and I thought she was going to be my most laid back child.

It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Day

I love the low 70s. Sunny, warm. There were birds singing when I got up this morning! The sun is peeking out already. The kids will get to (wear themselves out) play outside. As long as Charis doesn't scale the wall and make an escape like she did yesterday, the little monkey, they'll play outside most of the day.

I hope where ever you are, it is gorgeous there, too.

You Know It Is Going to Be a Rough Day When...

It is 8:30....there have been 4 major melt downs. You have to put in the Bee Movie (again) just to get a shower. All three preschoolers are throwing a fit at the same time. Sigh....oh yeah, and it's gonna rain today.
