Frustration!!
I am so frustrated with gmail right now. On my personal gmail account, I have many messages just disappearing. It seems to mainly be roadrunner email that it doesn't like, which includes MY MOTHER and several really close friends!!!

Guess What I Am Dreaming Of
Ahhhh, spring! I am ready for spring. I love the snow, but am so ready for the sunshine!! Last night the kids were running laps around the table, screaming to let out energy. Hard to imagine I know. There is a crayon drawing on my dining room window, and highlighter on my border wallpaper. Oh, where are you, Spring????

Random Thing #1
I LOVE to read. Anything!! Fiction, non-fiction, magazines, the back of the cereal box. I often reread books I've read dozens of times!
Random Thing #2
I HATE doing laundry and dishes. They seem to be such futile chores. If I finish the laundry there is still a dirty sock or a dozen lurking around somewhere. And if I run the dishwasher, there will be a sink full of dirty dishes before it is done running.
Random Thing #3
When I was a little girl, I always wanted long hair, but Mom always kept it short. I guess that is why all 4 of my girls have long hair and why I make them hair bows!

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Before having kids I was an 8th grade English teacher. I don't want to teach, I don't think I would be a good teacher and a good mother.

I am completely and totally addicted to diet Pepsi.

When Does It End???
After 3 weeks of dealing with sick kids, I guess it was inevitable that Kevin and I would end up sick. Grace started getting sick Monday night around 10:00. Picture Kevin and I trying to clean it up in the dark while three other girls slept. We had the hall light on; we even used a flashlight. Oh, that worked well (imagine sarcasm.) I eventually gave up and just turned the light on. No one stirred. So I cleaned up the best I could.
This was the best round of Barffest yet. I started getting sick around midnight or so. It was miserable. It is so hard dealing with 5 kids when they are sick. It is even harder having 5 small kids who feel fine when you are sick. Both Kevin and I were miserable. I felt so badly because I just couldn't function. Besides feeling sick, I had a migraine. Not a good combination. So Kevin was pretty much on his own with the crew. Grace spent most of the day in bed. Olivia was a huge help. She made it possible for Kevin to survive the day. (Because it was a snow day, all 5 were home.)
The kids all seem 100%. Kevin and I are not yet. I still have a sour stomach and lots of body aches. I know Kevin is really tired, and he's feeling behind because he started a class this week.
Hopefully this is the end of it. I question if my sanity could handle anymore of Barffest!!!!!!

Daddy Daughter Dance
Since some of you have asked...the Daddy Daughter Dance is a yearly event for girls ages K-6th grade in our district. There are currently 4 elementary schools in the district, and one of them has a Dad's Club. Every year they host this dance, free of charge, for Daughters and Daddys (hence the name, pretty clever, huh?) My girls especially like it because they know Daddy follows it with a trip to our favorite ice cream shoppe. (If you ever show it you would know why I spelled shoppe that way!) Milkshakes for everyone! Well, not everyone....Josiah, Charis, Elliana and I were not privy to that treat!
Birthday Boy!!
Okay, this is rather late, but here is Josiah on his 4th birthday in his super hero cape!! It's hard to see the red J on this, but it is there!

This is week three of 'Sickfest' at the Jobe household. If you would like to know how to join us, just....join us! Stop by and my kids will be more than willing to hug and kiss and sneeze all over you! In just a few days, you too can feel as rotten as they do! But wait!! It gets better! All of this, the cleaning up puke at 11:30 PM and 1:00 AM, the wiping little hineys and doing tons of extra laundry can be yours for the low cost of NOTHING! That's right totally free!! Unless, of course, you count the cost of your mental health!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Okay, this is getting ridiculous!!
I am home from church today. Second week in a row. Sick kids! Are you kidding me? This time it is a stomach virus. Both ends, if you get my meaning! ICK!!! Josiah, Charis and Ella are the victims this time. Ella and Ris are fine this morning. It's Josiah today. And just let me say that he is such a stereotypical male. You know what I mean. Plays it up big time. Everything said in a sing-songy whiney voice.
This afternoon I....GET TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!!!!! Okay, I admit it, I am taking Olivia to a birthday party, but I'll be out of the house with only one kiddo!! It's like summer vacation!!

Suds'n'Sass
Many of you know I have recently been selling some bows on Etsy It is such a wonderful place to get hand made items. Jewelry, accessories, clothing, knit and crochet items, paintings, cards and many other things.
I'd like to mention a specific store today it is called Suds'n'Sass. Beth makes great body and bath products and designed the banner for my store. She didn't know me and just did this for me. It is so nice to know that there are still good people out there!
On the Mend
I think we are finally getting healthy! No fevers, no barfing. All good stuff! Now if it would stop raining! Wait! there is some sun sneaking through.
We got a visit with Paw Paw yesterday. He is up from Florida, doing something I don't understand and is flying back tomorrow.
It's Ash Wednesday. Kevin is at service at Sharonville. I am home with the kids. I am not a huge fan of Ash Wednesday services. Actually, I hate them. I always leave feeling so depressed...oh, you sinner!!! But in Christ we are no longer sinners. We are holy!! See below!

It's raining, it's pouring
Unreal! Feb.4 and it is warm enough to go without a coat! And it's been thundering and lightening for several hours!
What's happening at the Jobe abode? Well, Grace is home again, but she doesn't have strep. I'm planning on her being at school tomorrow. Elliana has an ear infection...yippee for Meijer and their free amoxicillin!! Olivia is at school, although she didn't want to go. I think she thinks she is missing out on something. Risi is vegged out in front of Josiah's new Scooby Doo video (thank you Aunt Trish!) And Josiah, for reasons only known to him is stuffing toys down his "footies" (ie. footie pajamas.) and somehow he is losing toys in this process. And wondering why he can't get his feet in....
Let's just say life is as interesting as always!

My Teeth Hurt
Not a migraine, just a headache. My teeth hurt. Must be sinuses.
Had all 5 home from school today. Olivia will go back tomorrow. Grace and Elliana are at the doctor. When Gracie is quiet, you know she isn't feeling well. She hasn't even been bossing everyone around!

My Babies
I wish I could have found a picture of sick monkeys. Three of my little ones are not feeling well. Grace and Ella started running fevers on Friday. And are still around 103 without medication
Last night Olivia was throwing up around 3 AM. They have all be really lethargic all day. Add on my migraine and, well, poor Kevin.
Today is Josiah's 4th birthday. It's been really low key. But he had presents and we are having cookies and ice cream later. He's happy about that.
Hopefully we be doing better tomorrow......
