Daddy Daughter Dance

In February, our schools hosted the annual Daddy Daughter Dance for Kindergarten through sixth grades. The girls love it. They get all dressed up and go with Dad. Once they get to the dance, they ditch Daddy to hang out with friends. Somedays I see pictures like this and I am amazed at how grow up they have gotten.

If you ask them their favorite part of the night, they will all three tell you that the best part is going out for ice-cream before coming home. It's become a tradition in the last 5 years!

Ahh that is soo sweet! Cracks me up when you say when they get to the dance they ditch daddy for their friends. That never really changes though, the only change it the date...first it's daddy then its the kid from math class, then their hubbies. The result is the same the girls are all together and the guys end up holding their purses!!!

What a lovely photo. And he is a great dad to show them how they should be treated!

Love the pics with dad!! And you know my heart for these Daddy-Daughter dances. Can't believe Jen is going to miss out on one this year....maybe they'll have to do something else special like that instead. Hmmm.....
